Solar power is becoming increasingly popular as the costs of gas and electricity have substantially increased over recent years. There is also pressure from environmentalist to move towards greener fuels, so solar power is heading up the popularity list.
The shortage of power, the rapid consumption of non-renewable energy, the ever-increasing demand for power supply, the daily warnings about our environment are enough signs to tell us that its time we do something.
Renewable energy comes from natural resources, as opposed to non renewable energy which comes from resources that will one day run out. The advantage of natural resources, is that they are typically cleaner to run, making less of an impact on the environment and we do not need to worry about the running out. Renewable energy typically comes from water, wind, the sun and the earth’s natural heat, or geothermal energy.
