Wind energy is readily available but wind power is not. Unfortunately, the wind power system has not reached the status of becoming a regular power system. However, the good news is that the concept is picking up.
We should think about renewable energy as how best to rather than should we adopt it. The world is now pressed more than ever before to take drastic action to combat the harmful side-effects of conventional fuel like oil and gas. Actually, green and renewable energy sources such as wind, water and sunlight are nothing new. They have been around for centuries and with the renewed interest and the associated technological advancement in them, they are ready to take center-stage indeed.
Many times when we think of wind energy, the first picture that surfaces is those large windmills out on farm land around the country. Have you ever wondered how they work? They really aren’t hard to understand, it’s just a few blades connected to a shaft that rotates and creates power. The sun is practically our life’s resource as without it the earth wouldn’t be habitable. If we can all contribute to helping the planet by using solar energy (power generated from the sun) we can be sure to keep our earth as healthy as possible and to use the energy the sun has provided.
We have gotten accustomed to having heat available at the push of a button, but it is often from inefficient sources. Heating homes,schools, and businesses with solar power is cost effective in addition to being much more efficient. Even in winter there are several ways to capture the sun’s heat. In order to capture the heat from the sun you will need what is called a solar source. The source is something that will absorb and trap the heat from the sun’s rays. A simple example of this is a sunroom.
