Generate Website Traffic Or Become Extinct
There is nothing, nothing more important to your business then to generate website traffic. People who get focused traffic to their websites are people who make money online. Without it your business is dead. As simple as that.
Say we have 2 websites: Stacy spends s a lot of time making her homepage look pretty and she tries her utmost to make her website as user friendly as possible. Is Stacy going to generate website traffic? She will probably get some traffic on the long run and she might even get a few sales.
Dave also has a website. His website is much simpler then Stacys but good enough, plus he does give info on his products. But Dave devotes almost all his online efforts to generate website traffic. My honest feeling is that Dave will gain the success, and cash, he wants a lot quicker then Stacy will.
Maybe new internet marketers have to hear this before they really understand it. Traffic to your website hardly ever comes by itself. You have to put in some planning and work to generate website traffic. Leaving it up to chance or luck is going to get you nowhere. With a very new idea or product you might get enough traffic to sustain your business, but most people need to work at it.
If you put aside a little time every day or week to start learning what you need to know and then start incorporating that you will strike gold eventually. Remember that even the big boys had to start somewhere and if you get a decent course or join a renowned mentorship program you will be able to generate website traffic at will eventually. So do your business a favour and start today rather than some time in the vague future.
