I know how it is. My wife and I started our MLM business by having meetings in our home with our first four recruits. We grew our organization to the point where we could no longer fit in our house and started having meetings at Denny’s restaurant. It held 40 people. Within two months we couldn’t fit in there so we moved to Golden Corral’s meeting room which sat 100. You guessed it. We outgrew it, catching the attention of our corporate office and got their help securing a meeting room at the Holiday Inn. Success right? Sure. I loved it. I had the freedom of working from home full time. What I didn’t love was all the hours I had to put in to keep the machine going. I couldn’t believe it but I was burnt out. There had to be a better way. I needed to find a way to build our MLM business with less effort. That’s when I discovered Internet MLM.

The first thing you’ll notice when moving from offline MLM to an Internet MLM business is the absolute powerful ability to laser target your MLM advertising and prospecting efforts to attract people that are already searching for what you have to offer. You can target prospects by city, state, age, affliction, hobby, whatever you can think of. Before, when we were passing out fliers and drop cards it was like shooting a shot gun in the dark. You never know what you’re going to hit. For instance, you can go to Google.com/alerts and set it up to send you an alert whenever someone posts something about your company or product on the Internet. Often times you will find people asking specific questions about what you have to offer. You simply click the provided link to their post and answer their question. Of course you always want to include a link to your product or opportunity at the end. By the way, this is a free service.

Another great tool to use in your Internet MLM business is Yahoo Answers where you can search almost real time for folks asking questions about your MLM business or product. Just go to answers.yahoo.com and create a free account. Type your product or company keyword(s) in the search box and click the search button. The questions that come back will be from people who are looking for your particular MLM business or service. NOTE: Please be sure to give value. Truly answer their question without giving them a sales pitch. You can provide a link to your web site in the resources box.

Add these two techniques to your Internet MLM arsenal and you will be selling more product and recruiting more reps in a matter of days, if not hours. There are lots of free online resources you can use to supplement your offline MLM advertising. Keep looking, learning and above all taking action. You’ll do fine.
